Comfort Food At Its Finest? This Chicken Noodle Casserole Is The Best!

This simple but classy dish is perfect for a large crowd. Feeding a hungry crowd is a difficult thing to do so the most ideal food to serve is a casserole dish. It’s convenient to make and can feed a large number of people. You don’t even have to worry about how good your food will look because it’s a casserole dish and no one will mind. Everyone will just enjoy a casserole dish that has the classic ingredients on it.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups shredded chicken
  • 2½ cups Barilla egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1½ cup Green Giant frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom
  • 1 (14 oz) can of College Inn chicken broth
  • 1 cup Sargento shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup Sargento Parmesan cheese
  • 1½ cup Sargento shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to season

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly spray a 9×13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl combine all of the ingredients except the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, add in salt and pepper if desired; mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the sharp cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Place foil over dish and place in oven and cook for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and place back int he oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese on top.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Quick Tip You can even make this recipe as a freezer meal.  Wrap with foil and write instructions of – 350 degrees, 50 minutes covered, 5 – 10 minutes uncovered, serve.  Place in freezer until ready to use.
