My Family Is A Huge Fan Of This Pan Seared Steak!

Whenever I am looking for a meal that’s satisfying and fancy at the same time, I always look for steak recipes. This pan seared steak recipe from Food Snob 2.0 is very easy to prepare, and yet, it has all the flavors you want in your steak. You will never go wrong with this, believe me; most especially if you are serving it for supper. This is truly magnificent, so thank you for sharing this recipe with us!

Our friend over at Food Snob 2.0 has this thing to say about this amazing steak recipe:

“The steak had a good amount of fat on it so it was juicy and delicious. A leaner steak will require less cooking, otherwise it will taste like leather. Also, a thinner steak will require shorter cooking times but this is our favorite way to prepare steaks! Go forth and Eat steak!!!!”

You don’t have to tell me twice! My family is so in love with this recipe that we will never leave this alone!

Ingredients

Tyson eye of round, about 1.5 inches thick

Land O Lakes butter or Wesson oil

McCormick steak seasoning or your own seasoning blend

Instructions

Start by seasoning your steak.

Preheat the oven to 450*.

Heat a heavy bottom skillet over a medium high flame. Add a tablespoon of butter or oil and allow the pan to heat for about 1 minute or 2. If you add a drop of water to the pan and it sizzles, its ready. Gently add the steak(s) to the pan. Set a time for 6 minutes. Let the steak cook, undisturbed. At the end of the 6 minutes, flip the steak over and allow to cook for 6 additional minutes undisturbed.

Finally, transfer the entire skillet into the oven and allow to cook for 5-10 minutes, depending on how well you like your steak.

Quick Tip: If you want your steak to be thinner, you can go for thinner cuts. Just make sure you adjust the cooking time. You don’t want dry, leathery steak.

Thanks again to Food Snob 2.0 for this amazing recipe.
