Have A Sweet Memory With These White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies!

A particular food always causes me to take a trip down memory lane. Recently, it has been these white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. And I can’t help but think fondly of it. When I was still in college, I lived with my friends in an apartment. There were about six of us. Six penniless students who worked hard to pay for the apartment and for food.

I worked for a coffee shop near campus. We always got a free meal as part of our benefits. For a struggling college student, that was a major one. Imagine one free meal a day?

I took both the night shift and the afternoon shift. Whenever I was attending the afternoon shift, I had to settle for a sandwich or else I wouldn’t last the day. My favorite though was the nights shift because I got to eat one of my favorite cookies.

The coffee shop served these large white chocolate macadamia cookies. It’s price was half the price of the sandwich so I got to have two every time! I always ate one and then brought the other one back to the apartment.

Every time I remember that, I find myself very thoughtful. While it might not be my ideal job, it was a good experience. I learned to talk to people and learned to work hard to achieve my dreams.

Enough reminiscing! A copy of this recipe can be found on the next page. Enjoy this with your family, my friends!
