Whip Up This Fresh Pasta Salad Recipe For A Satisfying Meal!

I make this easy pasta salad all the time. I have a version of my own, a recipe that I learned from my mother. However, that takes a bit of work an effort. It’s perfect for the weekends when I don’t have much time. This version from Wonky Wonderful, however, is pretty easy. You can whip this up anytime!

It is indeed great for a large gathering! An easy recipe that will satisfy anyone who wants to enjoy good food. This is also a pretty versatile dish. You can adjust the seasonings based on your preferences. This is really good for picnics with the fam too!

 

Ingredients

16 ounces Barilla Pasta (your preferred pasta)

2 Cups Trader Joe’s Fresh Shelled English Peas

1 Cup Hormel Cooked Bacon – chopped

1 Cup Celery – chopped (approx 4 stalks)

4 ounces Sargento Medium Cheddar Cheese – cubed

1 Cup Kraft Mayonnaise

1 Cup Great Value Plain Greek Yogurt (or sour cream)

Salt/Pepper To Taste

Fresh Parsley

 

Instructions

Boil pasta according to package instructions. Add peas to boiling pasta the last minute of cooking (no sooner). Drain peas and pasta, run under cold water and set aside to cool.

Once pasta has cooled; add bacon, celery, cheese, mayo and yogurt.

Salt and pepper to taste. Top with fresh parsley.

Serve cold.

Quick Tip: If you have trouble finding English peas, fresh shelled pea will do.
