Your Family Can Enjoy This Melt-In-The-Mouth BBQ Chicken Recipe Even Without The Grill!

I love making this BBQ chicken into a sandwich for my husband. He usually just buys his lunch from the deli near the place of his work, but whenever I can, I make sure he eats home-cooked meals. So I make him a sandwich that he can just re-heat in the microwave. This is perfect with coleslaw and pickle chips, but I put shredded cheese on it too.

Our friend over at Natasha’s Kitchen has this to say about the recipe:

“This crockpot pulled chicken is so easy to make – everything just goes into the slow cooker without any special prep. It’s fall-apart tender, juicy and delicious.”

That’s what truly makes this recipe special. The fall-apart quality of the meat and its juicy taste that no one will be able to say no to.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs (about 5-6 count) Tyson boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1½ cups Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ sauce
  • ½ medium onion, grated (with juice)
  • 1 Tbsp Bertolli olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Domino brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Stir together all sauce ingredients in a 5-6 qt slow cooker.
  2. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Chicken is done when cooked through and easy to shred.
  3. Remove chicken to a cutting board and shred each breast using two forks. Place shredded chicken back in the crock pot and stir to coat with the yummy sauce.
