Here’s To Friendships And Casseroles!

My husband and I love inviting people over for dinner.  Ever since long ago when we were home alone and did not have any kids, we would have couples and families over for dinner on a regular basis.  Then when kids came along, it became a little more difficult to host.  As soon as our kids got old enough, we started having friends over for dinner again.  It was always tough choosing what to serve since I have always loved to cook.

However, one day we invited some close friends of ours and the wife told me not to worry about cooking, she would come over and take care of it.  I was a bit in a frenzy since I am used to doing the cooking, but I relaxed a bit and let her take over.  Well, she showed up at my house with something that smelled amazing! When I asked what it was, she called it a friendship casserole.  Yes, my friends, this is a casserole to make for your friends, whether they are busy with activities, just had a baby, or are going through a rough time.  Write this recipe down, you are not going to want to forget it for when you need to take something to someone.
