This Crockpot Chicken And Stuffing Recipe Makes For One Satisfying Evening Meal!

This crockpot chicken and stuffing recipe is the perfect meal to serve after a long day at work. When you come home and hot meal is expecting you, there is nothing better than that! I can see the gratefulness in my husband’s eyes whenever he comes home to something like this. I try to cook warm food for him as much as I can because I know how hard he’s working. And he deserves such a satisfying meal after a hard day’s work.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tyson chicken breasts, or 2 leg quarters, or equivalent chicken
  • 2½ cups College Inn chicken broth
  • ¼ cup Daisy sour cream (optional)
  • 1 Bag of Pepperidge Farm Stuffing Mix (12oz)
  • 1 small package of Green Giant frozen green beans or one can of green beans, drained

 

 

Instructions

  1. Spray the crockpot with non stick cooking spray
  2. Place the defrosted chicken in the bottom of the crockpot as your first bottom layer.
  3. Next top the chicken with the stuffing mix .
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the broth and sour cream. The sour cream is optional. It makes everything a little more creamy. Top this mixture over the dry stuffing mix.
  5. The last layer will be the frozen green beans or a can of drained green beans.
  6. Cook on high for 4 hours or cook on low for about 7 to 8 hours.
  7. When done fluff the stuffing with a fork and serve
