Meaty Vegetables And Rice Stuffed Peppers Will Make Your Dinner Table Shine

One tradition that we never let go in out family is thiswhoever visits should bring something from his or her hometown and whoever is being visited should prepare at least one food that the visitor requests through a call. It isn’t a superstition or something of the sort; it’s just supposed to make the visitor feel welcome and the visited, respected. Respect and hospitality are two of the values our grandparents often taught us. It’s the reason why we have such an intact family up to now.

Uncle Red, his nickname, rarely goes to reunions. He lives the farthest and he’s often really busy with handling his business. But whenever he visits, everyone’s really excited and prepares not one but all of his favorite dishes. One of them is stuffed peppers. I’m not sure exactly why he loves them, but hey, no complaints here if we will get to see him again. However, the funny and frustrating thing is, instead of a variety of dishes whenever he arrives, there’s a variety of stuffed peppers. Each of my aunts, including my mother, always competed with regards to the same dish. Their stuffed peppers always taste good of course. But well, we all wanted a variety of dishes. This is all Uncle Red’s fault.
