Hungarian Beef Stew Makes One Cozy Meal!

“When it rains, it pours”this cliché is so true I don’t know how to explain it further. It always rained where I lived and when it rained, it just wouldn’t stop. I was caught up in one a few days ago. It was truly a downpour of torrents on my way home. The rain was pouring so hard that even if I was fifteen minutes away from home, I couldn’t continue or else I would probably hit another car or a lamp post. It was a blessing in disguise that my brother’s house was just a turn away. So I knocked on their door and asked for shelter. It sounded dramatic, but it wasn’t really.

Andy immediately let me get dressed while my niece was happily dancing around because I was staying for dinner. My brother was simply relieved because I was okay, and well, maybe a bit smug too because he knew I wouldn’t get to rest with my niece clinging to me all night. That night though, I was grateful because one, I was safe. Two, I got to eat with my favorite people. And three, Hungarian beef stew was on the menu and there’s nothing better to warm you up than one delicious, homemade stew. Great company and delicious dinner always come together.
