This Bean Dish Deserves A Standing Ovation – Delicious And Easy To Make!

My husband and I used to always make a big hearty meal for dinner.  We were so excited when we first got married and were constantly celebrating any little thing with a big meal.  I always made it at home because I love to cook, but we also ate out a lot.  It was a constant thing that, although delicious and we were enjoying it, was putting a strain on our wallet and making us gain weight.  We knew we had to do something because we did not want to gain a ton of weight in the span of one year.  So, we began to make soups for dinner.

Soups for dinner felt like a diet at first.  I mean, we were used to eating buttery shrimp and grits as well as baked mac and cheese casseroles and loads of potatoes and meats.  It felt a little boring to eat soups, but we soon discovered that it was only boring if we let it be and chose boring flavors.  We found new types of soups that we thought we would love and tried them and lo and behold, we love soup.  We now have soup almost every night for dinner because we love it!
