A Festive Dessert Turned Into All Year Fun – Cranberry Brie Bites

I love a good appetizer recipe that is bite sized. They look so pretty on a plate and presentable.  They are easy to make and enjoy while still beautiful.  I think bite sized appetizers (and well, really anything because bite-sized desserts look just as good!) are a beautiful little treat. These are wonderful because they are so easy to enjoy and with just one bite, you will be able to get a little of everything.  These are positively delicious!

Check out what our friends over at Tablespoon.com had to say about these:

“Flaky puff pastry, creamy brie and tart cranberries—that’s all you need to pull together these fancy appetizers. We guarantee no one will believe you when you tell them how easy they are to make.”

Oh yes, sometimes even I cannot believe that these are so easy to make!

Ingredients

1 package (17 1/4 ounces) Pillsbury frozen puff pastry, thawed

1/2 lb Brie cheese

1 cup cranberry sauce (purchased or homemade)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

With a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the sheets into approximately 3 inch x 3 inch squares. Press each square into a muffin cavity.

Cube the cheese – about a 3/4 inch cube for each (you may have a little cheese left over). Place a cube of brie in the center of each puff pastry square. Top the brie with a small dollop (about 2 tsp) of cranberry sauce.

Bake about 10 minites or until puff pastry corners are toasted lightly brown.

Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
