This Skillet Sausage And Cabbage Was How Becca Was Forgiven

I forget about a lot of things because I have short-term memory problems. I instantly forget about something I was holding a few minutes ago only to remember about it an hour later. But my long-term memory makes up for it. I could still remember a lot of things about my childhood, and yes, even the minute details. But we all have that one friend who seemed to forget about everything. Even if all of you remind him or her about something, he or she will still end up forgetting about it.

Becca, one of my closest friends, has that problem. Even when we’re in high school, she’s already like that. She has lost a lot of friends because she has broken a lot of promises. Most of them though were promises she didn’t mean to break. She just happened to suck at focusing and remembering. She almost didn’t make it to her own brother’s wedding because of that. Her brother didn’t talk to her for a week after the wedding. It was a good thing Becca is a good cook. And for once she remembered her brother’s weakness and decided to use it againts him. She went to their house, intruded upon them, and cooked them the most delicious skillet sausage and cabbage, her brother’s favorite. It worked. Her sister-in-law even asked for the recipe. She was also finally forgiven. But she was also warned that if she didn’t come to her nephew/godson’s own baptism, then no amount of cabbage and sausage would make her brother forgive her. Uh oh.
