What if I told you it’s possible to make this lovely meal in 45 minutes, and with as little money as $6? You’d probably think I’m crazy, right? Well, I’m not – and it really is true. This tasty cornbread chicken pot pie makes four servings, has a prep time of 15 minutes, bakes in the oven in half an hour and according to Campbell’s, will cost you an average of $5.32. I would definitely call this a winner recipe!
I love pot pies – they are usually very easy to make and you can add just about any ingredients you happen to have at hand. Just like this pot pie here; if you don’t have chicken, use turkey or even ham. And if cheddar isn’t your thing, just use your favorite cheese instead. This is also the perfect dish for a potluck – or for a new neighbor as a welcoming gift!
