This is one of the easiest dips you will ever make. You can make it in the crock pot, microwave, or oven, depending what you have available. You can also put any kind of cheese you like, you can swap out the bacon for any other protein (or just add both, cause who can resist bacon?) and add in any of your favorite veggies. Serve with your favorite chips and you have got a star of an appetizer waiting for all your family and friends!
Check out what our friends over at Tip Hero had to say about this:
“Looking for a quick tasty dip for a dinner party or game day gathering that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser? Try this simple cheesy bacon dip that delivers rich bacony goodness in every bite.”
Oh yes. This is bacon and cheesy goodness with every single bite! This is definitely a crowd pleaser.
1 (8 oz.) package Philadelphia cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups (16 oz) Daisy sour cream
1 1/2 cups grated Kraft sharp cheddar cheese (plus 2 Tbsp to sprinkle on top)
1 cup crumbled cooked bacon (6-8 slices)
1/3 cup green onions, chopped
Preheat the oven to 375 F.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients until combined. Scrape into a 9-inch pie plate or baking pan, then sprinkle the additional 2 Tbsp cheddar on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is melted and brown on top.
