7 Ground Beef Casseroles That’ll Make You Moo – Check Out Number 3, It’s My Favorite!

7. Beefy, Cheesy, Veggie-Filled Casserole

Looking for an easy dinner that is well-balanced too? This cheesy beef and pasta casserole has everything you are looking for. From the al dente pasta, to the beef and cheese, and tender zucchini throughout, this is proof that getting your veggies can taste good too.

There’s no need to avoid pasta completely, even if you’re on a diet – as long as you make sure you’re doing it “the healthy way”. That’s exactly what this recipe is for! Use whole wheat penne for a healthy carb alternative and low fat marinara sauce.

Throw in some red pepper flakes for a little extra kick and give it a boost of flavor. Dig in and don’t be afraid to go back for seconds, it’s a healthy dish after all, right!?

So excited to see new casserole recipes. So bummed when EVERY SINGLE ONE had tomatoes (sauce, soup) in them – no can do tomatoes!

tried this for the first time tonight and used pizza sauce instead of tomato sauce. had hamburger with onions, pepperoni, black olives and mozzarella cheeses and it was amazing. like a deep dish pizza

This has no seasonings in it!! How can it be like pizza?? Hamburger and Tomatoes on Biscuits!! Not worth trying in my book!! My mother-in-lay taught me how to make a spaghetti pizza on a tight budget 40 years ago. Is still a family favorite!! Kids love pizza and spaghetti!! I do use package pizza crust now, instead of making it from scratch. Yours would be good and simple with some basil, oregano, garlic powder, garlic salt and Italian seasonings!! Try it!! Simple dish bumped up!!
