Turn Those Frowns Upside Down With This Cheddar Potato And Gravy Bake

You’ll be amazed at how easy this recipe is to throw together. I love the delicious potatoes and gravy mixed up with each other into one flavorful casserole.

Check out what my pals over at Recipe Lion had to say about this recipe and cream of coconut:

This cheese-topped potato side dish will rapidly become one often requested and favorite among potato recipes. Side dish recipes like this Cheddar Potato & Gravy Bake from Campbell’s Kitchen are sure-fire winners every time.

I love how this side dish turns out! It pairs well with a roast beef or pork dinner. My husband said that he thinks it would be good with leftover shredded beef mixed in with it. I think I’ll try that next 🙂

Ingredients

Vegetable cooking spray

2 large potatoes (about 1 pound), cut in half and thinly sliced (about 3 cups)

1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)

1 can (10 1/2-ounces) Campbells® Chicken Gravy

McCormick paprika, to taste

1 cup Kraft shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4-ounces)

Instructions

Preheat 350 degrees F. Spray a 2-quart shallow baking dish with the cooking spray.

Place half the potatoes in the baking dish. Top with the onion and remaining potatoes. Pour the gravy over all. Sprinkle with the paprika. Cover the baking dish.

Bake for 1 hour. Uncover the baking dish. Sprinkle with the cheese.

Bake, uncovered, for another 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Quick Tip: I will follow the directions to this recipe to a “T” but sometimes I’ll mash my potatoes instead of slicing them. Tastes great!
