“Everything But The Kitchen Sink” Casserole

Poor Man Husband Casserole is an “everything but the kitchen sink” type recipe. This easy and cheap casserole recipe is super tasty and will keep your wallet happy. When you’re looking for budget friendly meals, it doesn’t get better than this.

Ground beef, cream cheese, sour cream, noodles, and cheese and tomato sauce make up this simple dinner casserole recipe. You can modify the ingredients based on what you already have at home, or make it as is. Either way, you’ll have a super convenient and tasty casserole recipe that everyone will love.

I totally love budget friendly meals and this casserole definitely fits the bill.

 

 

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

garlic to taste

1 teaspoon Morton salt

1 teaspoon Domino sugar

2 cans (8-ounces) Hunt’s tomato sauce

8 ounces Barilla egg noodles

8 ounces Daisy sour cream

8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese

1 1/2 cup Kraft Cheddar cheese, shredded

 

 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook and drain ground beef.

Mix beef with garlic, salt, sugar and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

Cook and drain egg noodles.

Mix sour cream and cream cheese together in a small bowl.

Layer, in order twice – noodles, sour cream mixture, meat. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
