Do You Want To Try Spiced, Shredded Pear Cake? Yeah, Me too!

Lately, I’ve been super hungry for pear cake, and not just any pear cake, but a spiced upside down pear cake. Usually, I make this for the holidays and everyone gobbles it up like a bunch of hungry little turkeys. We are a few months’ shy of the holidays, but I don’t care!

I need to have some spiced pear upside down cake in my life. The flavor in this shredded pear cake is amazing and the scent is intoxicating. Imagine a simmering potpourri pot on your stove. That’s what this cake smells like as it is baking.

I set out to get my big box of recipes that I have saved over the years and wouldn’t you know it, my spiced pear cake notecard turned up missing. So, I went on over to Google and entered “spiced pear upside down cake” into the search engine and found this little gem of a recipe on the Group Recipes website. I think I’ll be making this spiced pear cake for Christmas this year. I know my friends and family will enjoy it.
