Who’s Hungry For Some Festive Apple Desserts? Check Out These 7 Apple-Licious Recipes :)

If you love apples, you are going to absolutely love this dessert.  It is warm, toasty and everything fall dreams are made of.  Prepare this dessert in advance and you can have it prepared for company or just for whenever you’d like to enjoy this all on your own.

Check out what our friends over at To Eat Drink and Be Married had to say about this:

“The apples are sliced and tossed in cinnamon sugar.  Then, they’re microwaved until they are soft.  Then, my favorite part happens. LOTS of butter, oats, sugar and spices that will crisp up beautifully.  All you’ll need in a nice big scoop of creamy vanilla bean ice cream and you are ready to indulge and have the perfect treat to watch a movie with.”

YUM!

Ingredients

2 Honeycrisp apples, cored, peeled and thinly sliced

2 tablespoons Gold Medal all purpose flour, divided

1 teaspoon Domino white granulated sugar

pinch of McCormick ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons Quaker quick cooking rolled oats

2 tablespoons Domino brown sugar

2 tablespoons Land O’ Lakes butter

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.  Coat a 2 cup microwave safe dish or ramekin with cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, combine honeycrisp apples, 1 teaspoon Gold Medal flour, Domino sugar and McCormick cinnamon.  Mix well.  Pour into baking dish and cover with wax paper.  Microwave on high power for 3-4 minutes or until apples are soft and cooked through.

In a small bowl, combine remaining flour with oats, and brown sugar.  With a fork or your fingers (I have found fingers to work better), blend in Land O’ Lakes butter until crumbly.  Sprinkle the mixture over the apples.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.  Let it rest for 5 minutes for the topping to become a little crispier and serve warm (preferably with a hearty scoop of Hagen Daaz ice cream!).  ENJOY!
