Hit-The-Spot Homemade Turkey And Rice Soup Recipe

As I stand looking at the thermometer in my house that detects the temperature outside I feel a shiver run up my spine. It’s not because I’m cold it’s because I know the weather will only continue to get cooler as the days pass by. You see, right now we are in the throws of fall and although we’ve had pretty nice weather here in Pennsylvania, winter is coming.

So, what do you do when the temperature gauge begins to drop? You make soup, of course! This recipe is for turkey and rice soup and it couldn’t be any better. The broth is savory and delicious while the meat is tender and yummy. I think my husband had himself three bowls in a  row. I had two 🙂
