1. Amish Baked Chicken Casserole
I have primarily lived in Michigan my entire life. We lived in a rural farming area so there were some Amish families who also lived nearby. I was raised Mennonite, so seeing these simple folks wasn’t really too much of a shock to me. My church was a bit more liberal, though, as we could live as “normal” people do. I definitely had my fair share of amazing food from those Mennonite ladies, too!
However, nothing gives you more of a glimpse into the lives of the Amish like living in Pennsylvania does. Since moving here i have befriended a few Amish ladies and they have shared some of their recipes with me. This is one of them! I know you will love it. Plus, my neighbor Sally gives it two thumbs up 😉
