Dr. Pepper Called. He Said He Prescribes These Meatballs For A Happy Tummy.

The other day, my friend Sally and I were sitting on her porch swing discussing our favorite beverages. Now, I am no fan of soda pop because of how awful it is for your system, however, I will take the plunge and enjoy a Diet Dr. Pepper from time to time. Dr. Pepper is just one of those things that I need to have in my life.

Its flavor is unlike any other soda pop and it’s really good. I really wish I knew the secret recipe of this beverage because I’d most certainly try to make it myself. I’m crafty like that.

Anyway, sally told me about this meatball recipe she made the other night using Dr. pepper soda pop. My ears perked right up at the sound of that! Surprisingly, Dr. Pepper meatballs are not hard to make at all.

If you can toss a few ingredients into a pot and allow it to simmer for a little while, you can have these fabulous balls of meaty goodness. Sally said that her husband loved these meatballs and requested them for his next football party, which means my husband will be getting a double whammy of these things because he and Sally’s hubby are neighborhood besties. Haha, my husband would roll his eyes if he knew I described his bromance like that.
