5 Of Our Latest And greatest Potato Recipes – Sometimes, You Need Some Spuds In Your Life

Check out what my friends at All Recipes had to say about this Hamburger Potato Casserole:

I made this for my husband and myself last night, because the snow we got on the weekend put me in a “comfort-food” mood. Like others, I added extra seasonings to suit our tastes.

I love comfort foods, and meat and potatoes just can’t go wrong on that level. Think about it, there are tons of recipes that qualify so why not add this one to the rotation. I’m glad I did, it’s simple and overly satisfying. My son and husband drowned their portions in ketchup – no surprise!

Ingredients

1 lb of lean ground beef

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain fat.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, onion, TruMoo milk, Morton salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Switch up layering the potatoes, soup mixture and meat in a 11×7 inch (2 quart) baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until potatoes are soft. Top with Kraft Cheddar cheese, and continue baking until cheese is melted.
