Some Things Should Be Cooked Nice And Slow – Crock Pot Stuffing

Every year during the holidays I always run into the same problem: no room in the oven! Between the turkey, the green bean casserole, and the sweet potato pie, the oven is packed to the brim. I find myself having to time when certain items need to go into the oven and when others should be coming out, but it doesn’t always work out so well. When I came across this recipe for slow cooker stuffing, I felt such a sense of relief. I honestly never knew stuffing could be cooked in the Crock Pot, but it can!

In fact, a lot of things can be cooked in the Crock Pot such as baked beans, scalloped potatoes, and baked apples. I now own three slow cookers instead of just one and it makes my holiday dinner planning go so much smoother. I have even invested in a roaster for the turkey so that there is even more room in the oven. Slow cooker stuffing is really easy to make and all you do is set it and forget it. Yay!
