Serve This Cheesy and Bacon-Laden Dip at Your Next Cookout and Be a Hit!

Aside from cooking the onion in a pan, this dip cooks slowly in your crock for around an hour, and the flavors have a chance to incorporate making it seriously the best dip ever. Serve it with small toast slices, crackers or whatever you think would be delicious dipped in cheese. If you’ve had fondue this takes it to a whole new level and it has to be the Gruyere cheese – one of my absolute faves!

When you smell this slow cooking away, you’ll be tempted to dip in early. Just wait, because I did and it was definitely better when completed. This is not your average dip, people! Expect to keep coming back for more, and more. This will be everyone’s new favorite so my advice is to get good at throwing it together.

Quick Tip: I prefer crispy bacon, so I bake it in my oven at 350 until it reaches the perfect crisp. Then I drain it on paper towels as usual.
