If You Haven’t Attended Any Weddings This Year – Here’s What You’re Missing, So Yum!

What’s the best part of a wedding? Sure, people can say the celebration of love, dancing the night away, and seeing family and friends. We all know the truth – It’s the wedding cake. Wedding cake has a distinct flavor that’s hard to capture, so I was thrilled to happen upon this recipe and super-excited to try it out. It was perfect!

 

Soft almond-flavored cake wrapped in white whipped icing was enough to satisfy that “I need to be invited to a wedding NOW,” feeling. I was actually more satisfied because I didn’t have to buy a gift and I got a treat instead. My husband loved it too, and wants me to make it for his birthday so it was a definite hit! Beware – make this once and there’s no going back!

Quick Tip: The sour cream makes the cake extra moist, I threw in just a dab more because I knew it’d work its magic.
