All the Components of a Taco, Piled On a Chip!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground spicy pork sausage
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Cooking spray
  • 1.5 cups refried beans
  • 4 oz can mild green chilis
  • 1.5 cups salsa
  • 1.5 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • sour cream
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • Tortilla chips

 

Instructions:

Cook sausage in a hot skillet until browned. Sprinkle salt and seasonings over sausage while it’s browning. When sausage is cooked, remove from skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Blot off excess oil.

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Spread refried beans across the bottom of slow cooker, then layer sausage. Sprinkle green chilis and spread salsa on top. Top with cheese. Cook on high for 45-60 minutes.

When you’re ready to serve, scoop out dip into individual bowls. Top with sour cream. Garnish with tomatoes & green onions.
